Why I’m here at Lucha
Unemployment and underemployment are huge issues for the youth in South Africa, with one of the contributing factors often being a poor educational background that prevents the youth from achieving their full potential. My job at Lucha Lunako is to think of fun, creative and effective ways to upskill our youth - especially in the domain of their mathematical skills. Maths is so important, not only for doing the maths itself, but also for the sharpening of logical thinking skills, as the foundation for financial literacy, and lastly, being able to contribute meaningfully to society by being employed.
